Hi, I’m Xandra, heroine in training.
I live a fabulously simple life: a product of my hopping across the pond to study in England. I’m a Gryffindor Disney Princess, and when I grow up, I want to be Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service: teen witch/entrepreneur. I am a wanderer, currently based in Boston, always seeking mini adventures.
The Fashionably Light Manifesto:
I believe in less stuff more sparkle. I believe in fabulous simplicity.
With fewer possessions, we have space to appreciate the few we love. With fewer commitments, we have time to enjoy our favourites.
When I moved across the ocean, I adopted a minimalist lifestyle. On my minimalist journey, I searched the web for a blog that celebrates this combination of minimalism and fashion, but I couldn’t find one. So I started my own.
I used to think of minimalism as a fashion sacrifice, but I’ve found it to be the opposite. It may take a little longer to find the perfect pieces for my wardrobe, but once they’re in place, I trust them to reflect who I am. Living lightly inspired my new quest: to become my own heroine.
My mission is to help you become a heroine through simplicity.
Intrigued by the idea of minimalism, but not ready to jump in yourself?
Bogged down by all of your dreams and responsibilities?
Ready to leap into adventure, but not really sure how? I wrote a book just for you.
Join me in Fashionably Light: Becoming My Own Heroine, as I break down my road to minimalism, with a built-in worksheet for you to follow on your do-it-yourself journey towards becoming your own heroine.
